Reports
Reports show what you sold and what you collected for a day, a week, a month or any range you pick. They're on the Register, on the web and in the Paybrain app. For a day-by-day record that matches your deposits, use Closeouts.
How the numbers are counted

| Net sales | Sales after discounts, not counting tax, tips or card surcharges. Membership dues are left out. |
| Gross total | Everything taken: net sales plus tax, tips and surcharges |
| Tips, Sales tax | What was collected in the period |
| Card, Cash | Money taken by each method |
| Refunds | Counted on the day the refund was issued, not the day of the sale |
A sale counts on the day it was paid. A tab counts on the day it was closed, even if rounds were rung up earlier.
Total collected (card plus cash) can differ slightly from the gross total when a tab settles across a period boundary or a discount is applied after payments were taken.
On the Register
Open Apps and tap Reports. With PIN sign-in on, each person needs the View Reports permission, which admins and managers have by default. Manage permissions under Settings›Employees.
Reports cover the location this Register belongs to.
Pick a period

Today, Week and Month refresh on their own while the screen is open.
What's on the screen
- Totals: Orders, Gross Revenue, Net Sales, Tips, Sales Tax, Avg Order, Cash and Card. Membership Dues, Refunds and Discounts appear when there are any. Avg Order is gross revenue divided by orders.
- Financial Breakdown: net sales, tax, surcharges, tips and discounts adding up to the gross total, then the cash and card split and Total Collected.
- Top Items: your best sellers by quantity.
- Orders by Status: every order rung up in the period, paid or not.
- Tips by Employee, Discounts by Employee, Discounts by Type, Sales by Type and Commission by Employee, when there's data for them.
- Orders: every order in the period, 20 to a page. Tap one to open it. Search by order number to look across all dates.
On the web
Go to Point of Sales and click Reports, or open paybrain.io/reports.
Choose Today, Week, Month or Custom at the top. Week runs from Sunday to now, and Month from the 1st to now. For Custom, set a Start and End date and time and click Apply. If you have more than one location, pick one or All locations.
At a glance shows net sales, tips, commission, sales tax, gross total, card, cash and member dues. From there, open a report:

| Inventory | Items sold, Low stock, Out of stock and Not moving. Top items, Moving up and Falling off compared with the period before, sales by category, items running low, and items in stock but not selling. |
| Loyalty | Customer capture rate (sales with a customer attached), points earned and redeemed, rewards given, new and returning customers, SMS consent, contact details on file, unredeemed points and Top members. |
In the Paybrain app
Open the POS tab and tap Reports. You get the same Sales overview, Inventory and Loyalty reports as on the web, with the same periods and location picker. Pull down to refresh.
The POS tab also shows today's net sales, transactions, card and cash at a glance.
