Custom branding
Customers see your business name and logo when they pay an invoice, open a receipt or book online, and your logo on the card reader while it waits for a sale. Branding is on every plan.

Without a logo, Paybrain's logo is used.
Set your business name
- Web: go to Settings. Under Business Information, change Business Name and click Save Changes.
- Paybrain app: go to Settings›Profile›Display Name.
Add your logo
Open the logo settings
On the web, go to Settings and find Invoice & Receipt Logos. In the Paybrain app, go to Settings›Business Settings and find Invoice & Receipt Logo.
Upload a light mode logo
Under Light Mode Logo, click Upload Logo and choose an image. A PNG or JPG under 2MB works best.
Add a dark mode logo (optional)
Pages switch to dark mode when the customer's device is set to it. Under Dark Mode Logo (Optional), click Upload Dark Logo and choose a light-colored version. Without one, your light mode logo is used in both modes.
Save
On the web, click Save Changes. The Paybrain app saves each change right away.
If your logo has light parts on a transparent background, turn on Add solid black background. For the dark mode logo, Add solid white background does the same. These appear once a logo is uploaded.
The Paybrain app crops logos to a square. To keep a wide logo as it is, upload it on the web.
Brand your card readers
Put your logo on a background color of your choice on every card reader's idle screen. It applies to every reader at every location.
Open Reader branding
On the Register, go to Settings›Card readers and tap Reader branding, under Branding. On the web, open Register settings and find Reader branding.
Pick a logo
Tap Pick a logo and choose a PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background looks best. It's centered on your color.
Choose a background color
Pick a swatch or enter a hex color. The default is black. The Preview shows how the idle screen will look.
Apply
Tap Apply to all readers. Readers pick it up within a few minutes, or restart a reader to see it right away.
To go back to Paybrain's screen, tap Reset to default splash.
With PIN sign-in on, changing reader branding on the Register needs the Manage Settings permission.
Your name on card statements
The name on your customers' card statements comes from the business name on your Stripe account, and is set when you connect Stripe. Changing your business name in Paybrain doesn't change it. To change it, contact support.
